how someone cheated on my at ebay

It was short before christmas when I bid on a good digital camera for less money :) You can still check the auction on ebay. There have been some questions about the credibility of "drogenabhaengiger" but I thought "no risk no saving" :) At the end I've been the highbidder and since he deposited his bank account informations on ebay, I instantly transferred the money to him. But as time went by he didn't answer my emails anymore. Next thing to do is of course checking google for some information and I got his email adresse and found out that he's around 19 year, plays some counterstrike, has his own irc-channel, got an icq-No. he seldom uses, he's a referee as his father ( got his phone number from there too ) and is a member of a community. So I spied some time on him because I wanted to catch him online. He logged everyday around 9 am on to the community. And so I send an icq message and irc message to him. The next day his irc-channel was empty... From this time on I thought, hey he got 219 Euro and doesn't want to hear anything from me! Next thing to do was to inform ebay of this cheater. You know, you can get a maximum of 175 Euro back from an ebay insurance but this takes quite long... But I remembered that there is another possibility to contact him! It was through this community where I had to register first. So I sent him a message over there and the next morning should be the last time he signed on there =) After that some time went by without any further actions from me. But today I thought, I might also try and call him! But I wasn't completely sure whether the person I'm calling cheated on me. Oh yeah, and I didn't have his bank details anymore because he changed them on ebay and I called my sparkasse if there is any possibility to get the payees account details and they told me that he can't tell me! Only the police can get them if they got some paper from the court... Anyway, I got his mother on the phone and she didn't even ask me anything but my bank details so that she can send me the money!!! I mean, wouldn't you ask what exactly happened or whether it's really your son who did it? No, she only wanted my bank account to sent me 219 Euro back. Now, I'm awaiting my money... Still mourning about the cheap camera I didn't get :(

edit: I may add that he's from austria which makes the whole thing a bit more complicated!
