Just one month to go and I only did so little for university... So from now on I try not to be online so often and really look into all those books I rent :) This makes it kinda official, so I hope I'll really do it!

Besides, I bought a new digicam three weeks ago over ebay and still didn't got any answer from this austrian guy... Bad thing is, I already sent the money! So, I checked the internet with all the information I had and I was in luck :) He and his father are soccer-referee's and I got even his phone number... So, I don't think he won't send it but maybe he just forget about ebay, his email account and wondered where all the money came from which appeared on his account... Anyway, I just give him another week and then I have to look what I can do...

btw. Sebastian posted 6 blog entries today and chelsea just need three days for 6... So I'm a bit behind ;)

After Nicole told me yesterday evening that she has just seen an ad which said that all cd's, DVD's and games will be sold at wholesale price at Saturn and Media Markt ( both companies are part of the Metro Group ) has 16% off on everything. So I went quite early today to Saturn to get halflife², some dvd's and cd's. But when I got there I saw that it's only 20% off :( So I only bought some presents for Nicole ( I guess she won't read this so I also might say what it is... hmm, maybe next time :) ) and White Lilies Island from Natalie Imbruglia which I wanted to own for quite a time now! But normal prices for music dics are totally insane! Anyway, I'm just waiting for my brother to arrive so what I might buy something at Media Markt... Oh god, I'm such a good consumer.... I always wanne own so many things... ... so what...

oh yeah, and you don't need to look for concert cards for Juli! They are all sold out in Dortmund and I guess in whole germany... I think I was the last one... I could order some but the next day they refused the order :(

Auf http://www.doener365.de findet man allerlei Wissenswertes über unseren geliebten Döner Kebab :) Unter anderem erfährt man, dass der Weltrekord beim Döner essen bei 52 Stück liegt ( in etwa 3 stunden ). Danach musste Mehmet Aslan aus der südostanatolischen Stadt Sanliurfa von drei Personen weg getragen werden :D

Oder das die meisten Dönerbuden in Deutschland "Ali Baba" heißen :) Sehr gelungen finde ich auch den Dönerweihnachtsbaum am Anfang der Seite!

Ach ja, und wenn ihr mal keinen Hunger auf Döner habt, kann ich euch das El Mosquito in Hagen empfehlen! Die Bedingung ist zwar recht schlecht, aber das Essen macht es locker wieder wett!

Nachdem ich in letzter Zeit viel über Roulette nachgedacht habe, da eine meiner Vorlesungen über Zufallszahlen handelt, dachte ich im Besitz DER Lösung für Roulette zu sein! Die funktioniert so, dass man in seinem Leben genau einmal spielt und dabei alles auf Schwarz oder Rot setzt und danach nach Hause geht. Gerade wurde ich jedoch eines besseren belehrt: www.heise.de schreibt über ein Pärchen, dass mit einem scanner und Computer "bewaffnet" in ein Londoner Casino ging und anhand der gescannten Informationen die Wahrscheinlichkeit eines Gewinns auf Zahl von 1/36 auf 1/6 steigern konnte! So haben sie mehr als eine Million Pfund gewonnen! Und das beste: es ist legal :)

Vielleicht kann ich das ja als Versuch im Fortgeschrittenen Praktikum anmelden ;) Würde ja zum Anwendungsgebiet Informatik passen :D

I've seen some cash-machines booting windows or showing an error but what happened in Ulm is unbelievable :) The members of ccc-club ulm found three account statement printer which could easily be abused! As you can see the got access on the computers and might have been able to do some harm! Of course they didn't because of some cameras watching them! The computers had internet ip's and you could resolv hostnames on it but icmp, tcp and udp wasn't possible. I really hope the press will take that case and that it helps to avoid these things in the future!
