the sky is grey... it's just raining so much that you can't see the rain but you know it's there... Really depressing sitting inside and knowing that you have to learn 160 pages of really difficult stuff in 8 days... But there's one light at the end of the grey tunnel: Soccer in 70 mins :)

so, the first night with my new toys is over. The Fax works perfect and you can now start sending me faxes but forgive me that I won't paste my No. in here... The ZIP-drive is an older one ( just 100 MB ) and was without a power supply so it's nearly worthless... But the Schrothbelts might get me more then 30 bucks on ebay :) So I never mind about the rest, 'cause I got a Tequila for free ;) Party all night long here in Dortmund!!

ah, yeah I hardly forgot... I wanted to check the cd-burner on my computer...First bad thing was that I needed a cable which is in the cellar... YOU don't want to go at 2 am to a cellar where some lights are luckily broken this week... looking at the big steel door which destroyes any hope of getting someone awake while screaming out loud when some... ok, I'm still alive... anyway, when I connected the cdburner and started my computer it screamed!!! I disconnected nearly all devices and the mainboard (?!?!!) still does some very crazy sounds I've never heard! And I can't even explain where it could get from... Like I was questioned about transistors on Wednesday and it would surprise me, if transistors could do sounds... Maybe it will just vanish if I wait long enough ;)

hey, for a long long day, I've been to an auction of stolen items in Hagen which the police puts to the folk again g Here are my results which totally cost 22 bucks:

so this are the articels I was the highbidder of: 5 Euro = 1 bottle of Tequila 4 Euro = a cd-changer from clarion 1 Euro = schrot harnessbelt blue 1 Euro = Texas Instrument TI-I 30 eco 4 Euro = cd-writer Traxxdata 1 Euro = extern zip-drive 5 Euro = fax and phone from sharp

Most of the things are unopened and in a new condition! ( The CD-changer of course not, actually I've seen some cd's in it! Later I'll check if I can get them out! )

But what you don't know is, that I've been 1 hour late for the auction! And those things I really wanted, had been already sold ... But there will be another one next year :)

I needed some seconds to realize that they are actually balloons :) At first I thought what a stupid repaint!

And I think I know how I will reward my healthy meals after one month:

Hört sich erstmal komisch an, gibts aber wirklich! So ähnlich, wie man beim Esel Dateien runterladen kann und wieder welche hoch läd, kann bei Buchticket Bücher einstellen und sich schicken lassen! Und wie bei den Tauschbörsen ist alles umsonst!!! Man stellt 5 Bücher ein und erhält zwei Tickets. Mit diesen Tickets kann man nun jeweils ein Buch "bestellen", welches dann ( hoffentlich ) geliefert wird. Dem Dienst gebe ich gute Chancen, weil die Post Bücher auch für wichtig erklärt hat und diese für um die 50 Cent zu verschicken sind! Ach ja, wenn jemand die eingestellten Bücher haben möchte, muss man natürlich selbst das Porto zahlen, was jedoch kein Problem sein sollte!

Ich habe vorhin mein erstes Buch verschickt "Einstein in der Küche oder Warum das Wasser Tango tanzt" und mir zwei Perry Rhodan Silberbänder bestellt :) Hoffentlich kommen sie an +hoff+ :)

I passed the exam! That sounds quite good though it wasn't as good as I expected it to be! But I talked a bit with my examiners after it and they told me that it's not that important! The important exams for me will be done in about 3 - 4 semesters!

Now I'm kind of depressed because I did a better job in my eyes... Its just that I couldn't explain two important physical effects which are very important for the whole modern physics... I will look them up later of course because I will need them definitely some time! For those who want to know: the first thing I forgot was that Michelson wanted to measure the speed of light ( and the speed of the earth realative of the ether )... I could somehow explain the experiment but that's something every physicist should know... The second thing was the interference with grids... I didn't know the outcome... ok, that doesn't sound like much for 35 minutes but as this is very important, my grade suffered with it...

But it's ok! I mean I passed! What else do I really need at this point?

As of yesterday I know that my exam will be on 10:30 am and not 11 am :) Which is really good to know! But after a much too long university politics session ( I'm a member of the students parlament ) I'm really getting a bit nervous... I only know one of four effects as good as I should know! And I'll have to hold a speech about one for about 15 mins! So my chances are 25%... Plus maybe I can choose about what I will speak! And besides, he also told me that I will be asked much more then I thought... Maybe its always this way. You think you have learned not enough to get through it... Though I think I'm the exception... Anyway, wish me luck from 10:30 am to 11 am! Stay tuned!

Und dieser Tage nicht November! Kurz vor der Sonne am Meer regnet es, so dass man keine Sterne sehen kann... War das eine geile Zeit, als ich auf der perfekte Welle lachend surfte...
